
Our Logan and Albert Conservation Association AGM will be held on Sunday 27 2025 at Beaudesert Arts and Information Centre starting at 12.30pm
A new management committee will be elected by financial members and outgoing members will report back on our activities. The AGM will be followed by a short general meeting.
All who have an interest in helping to conserve the values of the natural environment and promoting a sustainable lifestyle are invited to consider joining our association.
Ronda Green from Wildlife Scenic Rim will deliver a presentation on Biodiversity in the Scenic Rim and Ted Fensom will report on koala issues in 3 conservation reserves including Daisy Hill and Shailer land on the border of Logan and Redlands.
Logan and Albert Conservation Association covers both Scenic Rim Regional Council and Logan City areas - urban, suburban, rural, peri-urban, emerging communities with Bromelton, Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone developing within the two council areas.
South East Queensland is a biodiversity hotspot whose landscapes and species are challenged by the advancing pressures of human settlements and developments. By joining Logan and Albert Conservation Association, LACA, you can help to influence and promote ecologically sustainable development.

Joining the Logan and Albert Conservation Association is one way in which you can support us in the local community to assist our efforts to achieve better environmental outcomes for the flora and fauna in Logan and Albert Rivers catchment areas and beyond to cover all areas in both Scenic Rim Regional Council and Logan City. This is a widespread area of appoximately 5000square kilometres.
Our members care about the future survival of all species living in South East Queensland and many engage in on ground works as well as lobbying governments for better regional outcomes.

Single membership is $25 pa.

Members are reminded that financial members only are able to participate in election of new management committeee or executive at the annual AGM.
